Experience you can trust, tailored to meet your needs.

Supporting children, adolescents and adults, Rosewood Integrative Counseling clinicians serve clients with a commitment to providing trauma informed psychotherapy that is inclusive, neurodiversity affirming and grounded in evidence based practice.

Welcome to Rosewood

As a natural resource, rosewood is known for its unique beauty and inherent strength. It is revered by craftsmen and musicians when building instruments, with a reputation for providing superior warmth and depth - and for possessing an ability to capture more of the sound spectrum than nearly any other wood. It is strong enough to hold the tension of an instrument and soft enough to remain flexible and adaptive. With these qualities in mind, rosewood served as a core inspiration in the founding of our practice.

We believe that humans have an incredible capacity to hold the tension of life’s darkest moments and to adapt in ways that foster healing and change.

Rosewood Integrative Counseling stands as a reminder of the remarkable courage, power and resilience of the clients that we are honored to know.

Our Story

Founded in 2022, Rosewood Integrative Counseling began as a solo practice focused on providing care through an integrative lens. Having been deeply impacted by pioneers in the field of trauma treatment, Rosewood’s founder, Cara Joyner, focused on looking beyond symptoms, seeking to understand the depth of a client’s experience while equipping them with practical tools to move from surviving to thriving.

Since then, Rosewood has grown into a collective of therapists who share these values for clinical practice. While we operate within different specialities and support different populations, we share a deep respect for our clients’ stories and a commitment to providing therapy that is fueled by curiosity and compassion.
